In Memoriam- MW Gail Linnell Smith PDF Print E-mail

It is with sadness that we announce the death of

Brother Gail Linnell Smith.

Most Worshipful Brother Smith served the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Connecticut as its 122nd Grand Master in 1968. His Masonic career spanned sixty-seven years during which time he was honored as a recipient of the Pierpont Edward Medal in Bronze and Silver. He passed away on Friday, June 4, 2010.


The Memorial Service will be private and there are no calling hours.


It is the will and pleasure of the Most Worshipful Grand Master that each Connecticut Masonic Lodge Altar be draped for a period of thirty days in memory of our departed Past Grand Master.


At the request of the family, donations may be made in memory of M.W. Brother Gail L. Smith to the Masonic Charity Foundation, PO Box 70, Wallingford, CT 06492.
Letters of sympathy and condolence for the family may be sent to Brother Gail Nelson Smith, PGM,1 Dover Lane, Columbia, CT 06237.
